A Lion (Panthera leo) pride found this Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) and her calf (the calf had a broken leg) and spent the day attempting to get at the calf. The adult giraffe kept them at bay although they eventually suceeded in catching the calf. Phinda / Munyawana / Zuka Game Reserve. KwaZulu Natal. South Africa
