The Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 12-35mm f/2.8 II is our most used lens - the other one being the Leica 12 - 60mm lens. It's an incredibly sharp, versatile lens and sees a lot of work, especially when we are shooting stock travel photography. It provides a 27 - 70mm (35mm equivalent) zoom range which, when travelling is most useful and the f2,8 maximum aperture is great in dark places or if you are wanting to minimise depth of field. When combined with the 5 axis image stabilisation of the GH5 and G9 bodies it enables hand holding down to incredibly long exposures. The dust, splash, and freeze proofing is nice to have and the seven blade diaphragm makes for a pleasing bokeh.
What we like:
- Light, small and very sharp.
- Very fast and silent autofocusing.
- Useful zoom range.
What we like less:
- Nothing to mention here.
Be sure to check out the other gear in our camera bags.

The Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 12-35mm f/2.8 MkII. So underated, they're probably our most used lens in our camara bags.
