Baobabs are simply remarkable trees! There is one in South Africa that is estimated to be over 2 000 years old. Think about that! We do, and wonder what a tree that ancient and huge has witnessed over the millennia.
We've sat on the ground, our backs against their massive trunks, viewed them from afar, photographed lions feeding on a kill in the shade of one, and gazed at an ancient baobab tree become silhouetted against a blood red sun, as it rose up from the parched, cracked earth of the Makgadikgadi Pans in Botswana.
